FAQ

How do I know if my item uses MLPV2?

Will This Work on a Really Old MLP Item? You really need an MLPV2 item to use this product, but do not despair! Something Spunky has a free upgrader to convert your MLP to an MLPV2!

How do I know if my item is modifiable? That’s easy! Just rez the item on the ground, click it, and then choose edit from the pop-up menu. Look at the general section of the Edit Window. It will tell you if you can modify the object.

What if my object says No Mod when it’s in my inventory? Don’t worry about that. The true test of whether the object itself is no mod is if it says no mod when you have it rezzed. If there are any no mod scripts, animations, etc. in an item, it will show as no mod in your inventory. You may still be able to modify the object itself though.

My Object is No Mod, but I really really want to use this product!! I’d suggest you try contacting the maker and asking them to make it modifiable for you. MLPV2 stuff is really best when modifiable, because that’s the only way you can permanently save positions, etc. It really loses functionality if someone makes the object itself no-mod. Explain to the maker that you can’t fully use the MLPV2 item if it isn’t modifiable (It doesn’t only affect the use of this product when they make it no mod, in other words).
